Swansea get promoted to the Premier League

Congratulations to Swansea who have just been promoted to the English Premier League...the 45th team to have played in the top flight and the first Welsh team. Here we have all 45 teams with the number of seasons that they have featured in the Premiership and what league they are in now.

Most teams that have been relegated from the Premier League are still knocking around the Championship however there are former Premier League teams that have slid down to League 1 (Oldham, Charlton, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday) and even League 2 (Bradford). We also have Wimbledon that have now folded, however we may see their reincarnation AFC Wimbledon grace the Premier League one day - they have just gained promotion from the Conference to League 2.
