With the announcement that Robbie Savage has retired from playing, it got me wondering how many yellow cards he received whilst playing in the Premier League. Here is the Top 10 list as of the 17/05/2011

Interesting to see that only one defender appears in this list - Phil Neville and even more interesting to note that 7 of the 10 are English!!
Most of the players in the top 30 list of yellow cards are coming towards the end of their careers with the exception of a certain Wayne Rooney who is in 21st place with 65 cards at the age of 25!!!! Expect him to top the list by a long way by the time he calls time on his career.
